Re: [ferret_users] Contours with 95% significance

Dear Ferreters,

There are many ways to test the significance of correlation i.e. from student t-test, F Test etc. Here is one link discussing the mathematics of this procedure.

I am able to contour the correlation values and mask them as I wish. But, now I want to plot the contours only with 95% significance. For this reason, I would like to know the procedure to find the 95% significant contours.

If you have only to plot the 95% contour, you can do so by

contour/lev=(0.95)/ov yoursignificance

Is this what you need?

If you want to mask correlation according to significance, which what "masking" is, you already know how to do it, correct?
