Hi Ryo, What might work with ascii files is loading the files and then aggregating them. So something like can data/all set data/... foo set data/... bar ensemble ens_all = foo, bar !or ensemble ens_all = 1, 2 The documentation indicates that this won't work for aggregating along the T dimension but it might be worth trying ensmbles. I guess the ensemble direction is chose to be fixed is because for old versions of netCDF you were limited to a single unlimited dimension and the developers have decreed that that dimension shall be L=T (for the moment anyway)!
