Re: [ferret_users] left justify color bar labels

Hey Ansley,

The issue remains whether /ISIZE is specified.

My main concerns are that the labels are somewhat far from the color bar and that the decimals get cut off using the default window size.  I suppose I can get around "cut off" issue by changing my window size. But, I am not sure how to have the labels closer to the color bar.

Thanks for your time,
Paul

Hi Paul,

I don't think we have a setting for that; They are set up to be drawn so the decimal points (if any) line up, so generally right justified.  They used to be left-justified, I think, but folks were objecting to labels that had this kind of thing:

1000
600
200
0
-200

Are you seeing something different when the /ISIZE setting is used vs when it isn't?

Hi,

With making shaded plots in PyFerret, when I use:

set text/font=arial/isize=1
or
set text/font=arial/isize=1 cbar

The labels (values) are right justified.  Can I control the colorbar labels to be left justified?

Thanks in advance!
