Re: [ferret_users] Order of axes

Yes, if the axes in the NetCDF file can be identified as longitude, latitude, level (height or depth), or time, Ferret will automatically reorder so the X/I is longitude, Y/J is latitude, Z/k is level, and T/l is time.  See "Files with permuted axis ordering" in

Bonjour Olivier,

I got the file with wget and then did the following in Ferret:

  use/order=ytx Argo_mixedlayers_monthlyclim_03192017.nc

It seems to work that way anyway.

Hello,
I want to read an Argo climatology in Ferret

Is there a way, with SET DATA/ORDER .. I guess, to have a proper axis order in Ferret, with Longitude on I,
latitude on J and time on L ?

Thanks,

Olivier
