Re: [ferret_users] Need a help for plotting ship tracks
Hi Krishnapriya,
see these ferret support pages:
http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/documentation/users-guide/working-with-special-data-sets/LAGRANGIAN-DATA
http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/documentation/users-guide/commands-reference/PLOT and look for plot/vs
To color tracks by time: http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/documentation/users-guide/commands-reference/PLOT#_PLOT_RIBBON
Examples - replace 'longitude' etc. with your respective variable names:
plot/vs longitude, latitude
plot/vs/rib longitude, latitude, time
Best wishes,
Hella

Subject: [ferret_users] Need a help for plotting ship tracks
Hi all,
I have ship track data(X,Y,T) of tracer which is time series data. But it is not gridded one and time is also not continuous. I tried to sort it out. But I failed. Could anyone help me to generate spatial map using ferret?. I would be grateful if anyone could help me on this.
