Dear Ferret users, I used to be able to plot any of the variables in my netcdf files
without any issue. But I recently changed my desktop to a newer
version of Linux, which is Scientific Linux
2.6.32-573.26.1.el6.x86_64 and the graphical interface is GNOME
2.28.2 (see attached). Since then, I can open ferret, use a netcdf file, but I can't display anything (see attached). It seems that there is a bug in the graphical display on newer linux versions. The IT people here in my research centre claim the answer to this problem is not in their hands, but that conversely it is something that only Ferret developers can solve. Do you have any idea of how to solve or bypass this problem? Did anyone experience a similar thing? Please let me know if I need to provide more information. Kind regards, Maxime.
