Re: [ferret_users] clear a line

control-u will clear all the text from a line and position your cursor at the beginning ready to type a new command.

In general, the command line is managed by the GNU readline library so you can look up the keyboard actions related to that library.

Hello,

How can one clear a line on the prompt?

Ctrl-C does not work in Ferret.  At least, if I press Ctrl-C, nothing
happens yet.  If I then press Enter, it starts to execute the command
and then it says INTERRUPTED.  This is usually undesired.
