Re: [ferret_users] trend of SST

Dear Sudheer/Ferret usrs,

I tried as suggested (attached script), But I want to confirm whether I am doing correct?
My data is JJAS mean per year over 112 years (Time steps 112 in .nc file with units: deg Celsius for SST).

In script, I multiplied slope by 112 to get unit Deg Cel/112 years, Am I wright?

Let me know, Thanks in advance!!

Hi Nitin,
You may use regresst function which regress your variables change over time against time axis, basically you are looking for slope which is one of the outputs of regresst function

Dear Ferret users,

I am using HadISST dataset for SST. I have to plot trend of SST (for 30 years). Did anyone knows how to plot in ferret? It will be great help!

Thanks in advance.
