Re: [ferret_users] Ferret publications

Hi Paulo,
You are absolutely right. We have some collected acknowledgements from our Ferret users, and of course our group does have some publication references of our own that need to be added to those pages. Thank you for bringing it up.

As always we request publication references, which we will include in this updated list. The page, http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/acknowledging-ferret lists a suggested acknowledgement that you may use when publishing work using Ferret.

Hi,

Are there any plans to update this list ? I think it would be the best
way to see that Ferret is alive and an excellent route to see the
variety of users and applications.

Another issue: the only publication I found about Ferret itself is
Hankin et al, 1996
http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/(SICI)1099-1778(199607)7:3%
3C149::AID-VIS148%3E3.0.CO;2-X/abstract

Is this still the best paper to use as reference for Ferret ?

Best regards,

Paulo
