Re: [ferret_users] polyline instead of closed polygon?

Dear Paulo,

thanks so much - it is much simpler!!

I have had only add /line - by default it plots only symbols.

Thank you!!!

Dear Malgorzata,

Have you tried "plot/vs"command?

For your case, it should be something like

plot/vs/over/nolab/color="black"/thick=3/title="" xre,yre

See more information in official Ferret doc pages:

Good luck!

Dear Ferret Users,

unfortunately I couldn't find anywhere...

I need to plot an OPEN boundary on a map - line but not closed polygon ,

I am using a polygon command:

POLY/line/OV/nolab/color="black"/thick=3/TITLE=""  xre,yre

xre, yre contain vertices

unfortunately it always connects the last point to the first one??

one way is to do it back and forth - it works but is not very practical if you have a lot of vertices

Is there any other solution?

I would be very grateful for any suggestion,

thanks and all the best

Malgorzata
