I'm interested in generating a wind speed climatology file (netcdf) for the month of February using the data from http://oceanwatch.pifsc.noaa.gov/thredds/dodsC/qscat/monthly. In other words, I would like to average all the February months between 2000 - 2008 (a total of 9 months).
Has anyone tried doing something similar, that could serve as a guide?
