[ferret_users] overlaying patterns on color shade plots

Dear ferret users

Is there a way to get .eps output with  patterns overlying colors in shade plots? 

I tried with the example below and doesn't work. 

use coads_climatology

set region/l=1

shade/pat=6patterns slp

set mode met

shade/lev=(974,1046,8)/pat=6patterns slp

can mode met

sp Fprint -p portrait -o  colors_patterns.eps metafile.plt
