[ferret_users] pattern
Hi all,
I have some difficulties using patterns. Their rendering are very different
following the production mode (plt or gif). This is because the underlaying
graphics libraries are different but it makes thinks complicate when you just
want to print what you get on your screen.
Read note from
http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/documentation/users-guide/commands-reference/PATTERN
and see the difference between the 2 images that represent the same patterns but
one captured from the screen, the other produced from a metafile and a Fprint command
Is there some improvement to expect on this with pyferret ?
My try with it gives :
$ pyferret
yes? use levitus_climatology
yes? shade temp[k=1]
yes? shade/pat=tiny_grid if temp[k=1] gt 20 then 1
STOP FGD_GSFASI: Invalid hstyle
