You can do the same for text by specifying the pen number: label,x,y,justify,angle,charsize,@c007My label textThe syntax @cNNN specifies pen numbers in the same way as the line number. You can change pen color or thickness multiple times in a label.

Suppose you make a mistake in a label (typo, whatever). Simply redo the label with pen @c019: Et voila! it is erased!
You might also look at the manual, Chapter 6 Section 5.1.2. PPLUS text and line color commands, for more control of pen and line changes.
