Hi Ravindra,

 

you can calculate the arctan from other inverse trig functions using some of the

various relationships between them – something like:

\arctan x = \arcsin \frac{x}{\sqrt{x^2+1}}

 – see:

Be aware of the various periodicities and ranges, though, to ensure you get a meaningful

result.
