Generally, the problem is with a region on the left and at the bottom.
As you can see once there is a lack of ice and in the second case is an additional ice field. And on the bottom there is a lack of ice when it was smoothed by sbx  and shn.
And I also attach the graphics which was taken by only interpolation with regridding and no smoothing.
