Re: [ferret_users] MONTH_ALL_LEAP climatological axis

Hi Patrick
Yes, we can add this calendar to climatological_axes.cdf. It'll be included with the next Ferret release.

Hi all,

Just a note to the team developpers that I would like to find in the file
distributed as climatological_axes.cdf
the climatological axis for ALL_LEAP calendar as well.

It should be:

MONTH_ALL_LEAP = 15.5, 45.5, 75.5, 106, 136.5, 167, 197.5, 228.5, 259, 289.5, 320, 350.5 ;
MONTH_ALL_LEAP_bnds =  0, 31,
 31, 60,
 60, 91,
 91, 121,
 121, 152,
 152, 182,
 182, 213,
 213, 244,
 244, 274,
 274, 305,
 305, 335,
 335, 366 ;

or expressed with the edges style (old boundaries convention):
MONTH_ALL_LEAP_bnds = 0, 31, 60, 91, 121, 152, 182, 213, 244, 274, 305, 335, 366;

I calculated it with following lines:
yes? def axis/t/edges/units=days/cal="all_leap" MONTH_ALL_LEAP=xcat(DAYS1900(0,i[i=1:12],1)-DAYS1900(0,1,1),DAYS1900(1,1,1)-DAYS1900(0,1,1))
yes? let a=t[gt=MONTH_ALL_LEAP]
yes? save/clobber/bounds/file=a_MONTH_ALL_LEAP.nc a

Thanks by advance.
Patrick
