Re: [ferret_users] ascii list
Try the /FORMAT qualifier to LIST:
list/nohead/format=(2f8.3) y[gy=pm],pm
The /FORMAT qualifier will also remove the default axis index
information. There are other qualifiers to LIST that may be helpful.

HI ferret users,
I have a 2D variable, for example precipitation p
I compute x-average pm such as :
let pm = p[i=@ave]
and now I would like to get a very simple ascii output list such as :
y1 pm1
y2 pm2
..
..
yn pmn
The problem is that if iI type :
list pm
I get a lot of information such as " y j / pmj" while I only
want y coordinates and pm values in 2 columns.
So what the best way for doing that ?
Thanks in advance
