Re: [ferret_users] monthly climatology

Hi Izidine,
The latest release of Ferret included some new axes in the climatological_axes.cdf file, including a monthly climatological axis on the 360-day calendar.

So you can follow the examples for regridding with @MOD, (see climatology, creating in the Users Guide Index) and use this axis.

yes? use climatological_axes
 *** NOTE: regarding ./go/climatological_axes.cdf ...
 *** NOTE: Climatological axes SEASONAL_REG, MONTH_REG, MONTH_IRREG, MONTH_GREGORIAN, MONTH_NOLEAP, MONTH_360_DAY  defined

yes? cancel data climatological_axes
yes? use my_data
yes? PLOT my_var[GT=month_360_day@MOD]

Dear ferreters

I have a file with daily data and I am trying to define a axis for a 360_day calendar to do a monthly climatology (@mod).
I have read the archive and the manual  but I am  failing.

This is my axis
!-> show axis T
 name       axis              # pts   start                end
 T         TIME              6810 r   01-JAN-1981 12:00    30-NOV-1999 12:00
T0 = 01-DEC-1979 00:00:00
CALENDAR = 360_DAY
   Axis span (to cell edges) = 6810

Hope you can help me
