That's good to hear. I was wondering if Ferret was going to able to  
read netCDF-4 data!

The current requirements for CMIP5 are that all submitted data must be  
netCDF-4 (with compression and probably chunking) so it's very  
important for Ferret to be able to "do" netCDF-4.
