Hi Simi,
We have not had other reports of this. Can you give us more information? If you show the shape of your variable, and the commands you are using, then we might be able to tell what's happening. So, with the names of your dataset and variable, of course, what are the output of:

yes? set data xx.nc
yes? show data
yes? show grid var

and then show the commands you are using to define the climatology.
