Hi Isabel, Yanhgxing is quite right. You can set up a single file which will allow you open your data as a single dataset. This is called a mc file (multi-CDF file) also known as a "descriptor file". There are tools to help you create this file. A more recent link for the Ferret documentation is http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/documentation And the section to read for directions on hoe to create a descriptor file is at http://ferret.pmel.noaa.gov/Ferret/documentation/users-guide/converting-to-netcdf/CREATING-A-MULTI-FILE-NETCDF-DATA-SET Ansley yangxing zheng wrote: Hi Isabel, You may have to create a MC file which describes a collection of CDF files. To: ferret_users@xxxxxxxx Date: Wednesday, September 2, 2009, 3:50 AM Dear all, I've been working with oceanic data files from SODA v.2.0.2, those files are .cdf. There are 528 files and each one represents a single month. Is there any way to open them simultaneously using a single file, so that they'd follow a chronological order?? Something like a template file (GrADS)? thanks for your attention, Isabel Veja quais são os assuntos do momento no Yahoo! + Buscados: Top 10 - Celebridades - Música - Esportes |
