[ferret_users] greyscale plot

Dear ferreters,

I want have a greyscale map and I tried with palette=geryscale. 
What I am doing is:

shade/palette=greyscale  sst
PPL TICS .01,.01,.01,.01
go unlabel 1
ppl shade


With this command it first plots a greyscale map and then while doing ppl shade it finally gives a color plot. Any idea to get rid of this and get a greyscale map?
