[ferret_users] netcdf file larger than 2GB

Dear all,
 I have to create a netcdf file which is large than 2GB,I am using Intel(R) 
Fortran Compiler Integration for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008, version 
10.1.4159.2008 and netcdf3.6.2 on PC,my OS is vista.
 My question is:
(1) How can I create a netcdf file which is large than 2GB using current 
software settings?
(2) Does ferret support the netcdf file larger than 2GB?
