Would you give us more information about instalation steps?

Maybe you're trying to call csh-version of ferret_paths through a bash session. In this case, try to source your ferret_paths after entered a csh session:

> csh
> source /usr/local/ferret_paths
> ferret

Particularly, I prefer to setup a bash-version ferret_paths.

Dear Everybody,

I tried installing ferret on my linux environment, I'm presently on my last stage but below is what happened:

[root@localhost~]# source /usr/local/ferret_paths

bash: setenv: command not found

bash: setenv: command not found

bash: usr/local/ferret_paths: line 92: syntax error: unexpected end of file

[root@localhost~]#

Kindly assist in finding solutions to the said problem on line 92.
