Hi Ferreters,
I have two time series defined on different time axes but they share a common time period. For example the monthly time series A is from 16-Jan-1946 to 16-Dec-1994 while the monthly time series B is from 16-Jan-1953 to 16-Dec-2000, and therefore the common time period is from 16-Jan-1953 to 16-Dec-1994. Since I want to compare the linear trends of two time series for the same period of time and am aware that
regresst.jnl is the tool to do it, but I hate to specify the time span manually since it changes for different time series pairs. So I wonder if FERRET can help to find and specify the common time period. I hope the question is clear.
Thanks,
D.
