Re: [ferret_users] pen color and postscript

Hi Emilie,
Few questions and few suggestions ...

 Questions
     1. How do you convert ps file to tiff? Using "convert" command?
     2. How does the ps file look like in gv (ghostview) ?
     3. On the attached image, the tic for 100 hPa extends to both side
of the axis. Is it intended or a shortcoming of present script ?

 Suggestions
     1. Instead of setting pen color from black to white, set the label
size for Y-Axis (PPL AXLSZE xsize, ysize) to zero before making
the plot. Then restore the Y-axis label size using the same
"PPL AXLSZE" command just before calling logpressureaxis GO file.
     2. As above, you can handle the tic marks, if you want.

I haven't checked this ...but it should work.

Regards,

Jaison
