[ferret_users] HDF Quikscat files from JPL

Hello,
	This question is a bit specific, but I'm wondering if by 
chance anyone else has encountered this problem.  I'm attempting to load
Quikscat HDF stress files at into ferret via OpenDap.  An example URL is

http://dods.jpl.nasa.gov/dods-bin/nph-hdf/pub/ocean_wind/quikscat/L3/data/2004/QS_STGRD3_2004001.04Jan121544.Z

when I try to use this in ferret I get the following message

*** NOTE: too many values in attribute "missing_value" in netCDF file variable:

and then ferret seems to get hung up.

The odd thing is that the 2002, 2003, and 2005 wind stress files (for example:
http://dods.jpl.nasa.gov/dods-bin/nph-hdf/pub/ocean_wind/quikscat/stress/L3/data/2003/QS_STGRD3__2003003.03Feb131520.Z
) seem to work fine; they load into ferret within several seconds.  I'm at a loss as 
to why the 2004 files do not behave similarly.  Any suggestions would be 
appreciated.
