Hi Mark,
I'll look at making this into dynamically-allocated workspace, so that Ferret would attempt to allocate as much space as it needs for the problem you're sending to the solver.  Note that it'll get very time-consuming to solve for larger problems.

I wasn’t able to get external functions to compile and so I couldn’t go down the path of modifying the parameters in that code.
