Re: [ferret_users] Remove the ~ as ferret output



Hi Ashraf,
            You can do this in two ways....

  1. Use "-nojnl" option while starting Ferret as

          [ashraf@machine]$ ferret -nojnl

     But in this case you won't get any ferret.jnl'l in your working dir.

  2. Use Ferret utility "Fpurge" (is a shell script in ferret/bin)
       : usage is

          [ashraf@machine]$ Fpurge ferret.jnl

     In this case you will always have the latest ferret.jnl in your
     working directory.
