Re: ferret: Informative e-mail subject lines

Hi everyone

- I  agree with  Billy. With   a descriptive subject, our mail is more likely to be read by the right people.

-  When  I  see mail  with a vague subject text (e.g., issue, problem, solution, ) , I  tend to regard it  as spam, and my  mouse regards the <delete>  as a piece of cheese.

It  would be great to  have   'ferret'  appear in the subject  line.
E.g. Subject: ferret: problem with subject line

Have a great day

At the risk of exposing myself for the curmudgeon [grognon] that I am,
can I suggest that people writing to this group use descriptive subject
headers? Subjects such as "problem", "question", etc aren't very
helpful. Better subjects would result in more replies, since more people
would recognize a situation they have some knowledge of. And considering
that many of us search the history of this e-mail list for hints, better
subject headers would be very useful.

Humph! Grump grump grump!
