Re: shakey and color labels
Hi Lia,
The only way to change that font size is with the shakey command
(admittedly inconvenient). When we do a round of improvements to the
plotting side of Ferret, something like what you suggest would
definitely be nice. For now, it's
shade/set var
ppl shakey,1,1,0.12
ppl shade

Hi Ferreters,
This looks like a handy way to make bold color bar labels, but does
anyone have a work around to change the font size of the of color bar
labels? I've tried using the same format substituting:
shade/size=.2/set var
but my color bar labels remain at default size.
Thanks for any ideas!

Hi all,
Emilie and I looked at this more, and it looks like a bug that resets
the pen used for key labels when the SHADE/SET or FILL/SET command is
used. Emilie found a workaround: using /COLOR=7 on the plotting
command forces the pen choice to remain at 7.
ppl pen, 0, 7
shade/color=7/set var
ppl xlab " new label"
ppl shade

Hello,
I'd like to write in bold the labels of my shakey (from a plot made
with the SHADE command). I'm already using "pen 0, 7" to get all the
lines on the graphics in "bold". It works fine for all – legends, axis
labelling, title... - but doesn't change anything to the labels of the
shakey.
It doesn't seem that the PPLUS SHAKEY can do that. So what's the
solution?
Thanks for any suggestion!
