Problem with running ferret V5.6

Dear Ferret Users,

I download some netCDF data (e.g. pres.sfc.1948.nc,pres.sfc.1949.nc,
pres.sfc.1950.nc, ..., pres.sfc.2004.nc) from NCEP/NCAR reanalysis web
site
(http://www.cdc.noaa.gov/cgi-bin/db_search/DBListFiles.pl?did=33&tid=859
6&vid=675). All these data are running OK under Ferret V5.53 in Windows.
Then I ftp these data sets to Linux machine and use them under ferret
V5.6. But ferret V5.6. could not open these netCDF data (see attached
messages).  Is there a way to solve this problem?  Thanks
