getting a specific value and its associated depth in a Z-profile

Dear Ferreters,

I have a vertical profile of a variable. To get the maximum value of the
variable on the z axis I use Z=@MAX. But I also want to get the depth
associated to this maximum value.
I tried several ways to do it but without success.
Would You have an idea for it
