postscript file size

Hello,

I have two questions.

1. I'm plotting a small region, say /vlimits=70S:60S:1, the latitude
labels look like this
70.0^oS, 69.0^oS.... 60.0^oS (there is a decimal 0 after each latitude
values). How can I get ride of this decimal? I just want them 70^oS,
69^oS ... I tried PPL YFOR, (I5), then I get -70, -69, ...

2. I have generated a vector plot for the southern ocean (south of 60S)
using
stereographic_south map projection. The postscript file size of this
plot is around 43MB. When I generate the same plot without any map
projection, the postscript size reduced to 3MB. Why?

Thanks,

Prasad
