Re: coordinate to variable
Jimmy,
Ferret lets you use coordinates as variables called
"pseudo-variables". You can do the kind of thing
you're talking about with the pseudo-variable Z :
let zpts = z[gz=temp]
let the=temp[l=1:25,k=1:24]*(1000./zpts)^(287/1005)
