Re: how to add lat/lon/depth to an existing netcdf file
Your i,j,k indices can be thought of as defining an x,y,z grid. So
make that grid, then regrid to it, then write out the results. You
could write out in some arbitrary x,y,z space (x=1:900, y=1:601,z=1:40)
using the @ASN regridding transformation for instance. Or you could
figure out what lat, lon, and depth correspond to your i,j,k grid,
regrid to that, then write out the results in geographical, earth
coordinates.
