filter function

Dear ferreters,

I would like to apply a filter on a SeaWIFS image using ferret. The use
of transormations (i.e., @SBN, @SBX, etc.) does not provide me good
results because I have some points with very high values (those I want
to smooth) comparatively to adjacent points. I wondered if the CONVOLVE
function would be applicable here. If not, is there a way to perform it?
