FFT error, why?

Dear Ferreters,
I have a problem when trying to perform FFT on a variable. The variable dimension is : i=1:180, j=1:67; k=1:33 l=1:13

this is the journal and error:

yes? use glb_expt_01_9_3zt.nc
yes? SHOW DATA/VARIABLE
     currently SET data sets:
    1> ./glb_expt_01_9_3zt.nc  (default)
     HYCOM model data: _3zt (GLB_expt_01.9)
 name     title                             I         J         K         L
 TEMPERATURE
          Temperature                      1:180     1:67      1:33      1:13
degC on grid GDT1 with 1.267651E+30 for missing data
             X=33E:33E(393)  Y=41S:66.1N  Z=-5:5750

  time range: 18-JUN-2030 00:00 to 18-JUN-2031 00:00

yes? let/title="FFTA of temperature"  t_ffta=ffta(temperature[l=1:13])
yes? set MEMORY/SIZE=12.8
yes? list t_ffta

Bailing out of external function "ffta":
        FFTA encountered missing data at (i,j,k,l)    1    1   32    1
**ERROR: : error in external function

It looks like that the temperature variavble contains some missing/_fill values that results the FFT error?

What should I do, please?
