supress K level on a variable

Hi Ferret users.

I have a netCDF file containing a 4d variable :  rain[I, J, K, L]
But for the K level, I have juste 1 value (K=1)

And I would like to get a new netCDF file (using the save command)
with a 3d variable such as rain2[I, J, L].

What's the best way for suppressing the K level?
