how to use multi-file netcdf data

Dear Ferret Users,

How to use multi-file netcdf data as a single file

I have two files :-

1)"mix.nc" with data sets

 name     title                         I         J         K         L

 M001  mixing ratio: tracer  1       1:72      1:48      1:19      1:94
 M002  mixing ratio: tracer  2       1:72      1:48      1:19      1:94
 M003  mixing ratio: tracer  3       1:72      1:48      1:19      1:94


2)"air.2002.nc" with data sets

name     title                      I         J         K         L

AIR   mean Daily Air temper       1:144     1:73      1:17      1:365


In a single window with four plots I have to plot "m001,m002,m003" from 
file 1) and "air" from the file 2).

I read the ferret users guide page 149 but it could not help me.
