Hi Maria,
can you just make the corrected plot over the first one,
without doing anything to try to clear the one with the mistake?
For example,

yes? set view ul
yes? plot/i=1:10 i
yes? set view ll
yes? plot/i=1:10 1./i

! Put a different plot in UL.   This should replace the one that was there,

yes? set view ul
yes? shade/i=1:10/j=1:10 i+j
