conset problem??

Hi, Ferret Users;

I applied "ppl conset" in order to change the size of contour label. 

"conset" works well in following order ;
contour /set_up/  .....
ppl conset  ......
ppl contour  
shade /ov  ....

however, it doesn't work at
shade /set_up/ ....
ppl shade 
contour /ov/ ....
ppl conset   ...

I don't know why the second case of conset is not working. 

If someone helps me how to solve this problem, it is very
appreciated.
