external functions under Win32

Dear ferret users

Could I use the external functions under Win32 same as under Linux etc?

I am interested in vis5d and FFT. I tried to do

go vis5_write test.v5d u v

error came with 'writev5d before ( is illegal'

Could you tell me how I overcome this problem?
