JC_OOP Error

I was getting a "JC_OOP Error" while trying to plot a large file with
the gui.  As Johnathan Callahan suggested the error vanished when I went
to command line.  However a new one appeared.  I am now getting the
following message.

"**ERROR: a program limit has been reached: 577681 points to plot
          Plot buffer size is: 495000

Is there a fix for this?
