Re: How to integrate between interfaces?



Hi Kang,

Check out the Ferret FAQs: "Averaging/Integrating over Irregular Regions"
(http://ferret.wrc.noaa.gov/Ferret/FAQ/analysis/avg_integ_irreg.html)

This technique will be accurate only to whole (vertical) grid cells. A
quick way to get greater vertical accuracy is to regrid in Z
    e.g. yes? LET hi_res = my_var[Z=<lo>:<hi>:<fine>]
and then do the calculation on hi_res.
