Incresing 'MAX' number of data sets

I am trying to plot 54 data sets in a 6 by 9 grid of viewports.  I can
set up the view ports fine but when i start reading in my data [yes? Use

data1.nc ..... use data54.nc] I get the error
"TMAP ERR: limit on number of data sets has been reached
                   MAX=30
"

Is there a way around this limit? Can a set "MAX" to a higher number?
