	I should obviously be able to answer this off the top of my head, but I
don't see any reason that the routine I wrote shouldn't be able to be modified
so that it can integrate backwards. After all, the following command will work
in ferret (at least v4.91 and greater)

yes? repeat/l=12:1:-1 shade temp[k=1]

And will step backwards in time. Obviously, you would need to define new
velocity vectors {e.g., uback = (-1)*u}. It is something that I thought would
be useful - but haven't given much thought to. I say - go ahead and write it
