Caitlyn is a physical oceanographer with the Cooperative Institute of Climate, Ocean, and Ecosystem Studies (CICOES) whose research focuses on advancing our understanding of biogeochemical cycling in Alaskan waters and across the deep ocean basins. She works with EcoFOCI to collect inorganic nutrient data, chlorophyll, and oxygen levels in the US Arctic. She also manages, deploys, and participates in the development of innovative instrumentation and technology in the Bering and Chukchi Seas.
