The web page http://www.pmel.noaa.gov/tao/proj_over/kwaj/ gives a brief overview of the meteorological station on Kwajalein Island, including a picture of the station. For more details about the contents of the data files, please read the associated readme files, i.e., Readme.met, Readme.rain, and Readme.rad. Dates and times are specified in all ascii files as two integers such as 19920131 235000 which means 1992 January 31 at 11:50 pm GMT. NOTE: You can also access your files by anonymous FTP using the following commands: ftp ftp.pmel.noaa.gov cd OCRD/tao/kwaj prompt ascii mget *.* quit If you're using an FTP tool like Fetch, you'll need to mimic these commands with button clicks.
